My mother passed away in 1984 and fortunately she kept diaries and we had many photos and home movies so she lives on but how I would have loved to have her sit down for an interview and tell me about her life in her own words. I hear her voice in my head but I don't have it on a DVD. The more I thought about this, I talked to my dad who was 85 at the time (a real character, sharp, funny and sensitive) and told him I wanted to do his video life story. I interviewed him for 3 hours and captured his story.
This historical production will now live on in his own words for as long as my family lives on. Everyone has copies. Everyone will know all about my dad. He was so thrilled I did this and couldn't stop watching the story I did of his life. He felt like a movie star at 85 (and had movie star looks in his younger days). For me, the many long hours to produce his 46 minute story was a labor of love. I have never felt so much personal joy and pride in my life. It also won a prestigious Telly Award and copies are in the Library of Congress Veterans History Project and the WWII Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana.
I want to do for you what I did for my father and preserve your legacy for future generations. I will put the same love and attention to detail into your story and you too will feel like a movie star!

Congratulations on your wonderful production of the video biography of your father, Raymond D. Hirsch, My video life story. You did an amazing job telling his story, and after watching it, I really feel that I not only know him, but that I've known him for a long time. You captured the essence of the man. Having created a few of these pieces for various family members, I appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into one of these productions. Great job and I wish you the very best on your future My video life story projects.

Receiving the OBJ Award was certainly a high point for me. The Central Florida community is a unique and dynamic place. I applaud your ability to condense my life into a concise and upbeat video presentation. Each life has an interesting story and I encourage others to allow you to capture those stories on film for family and posterity. I look forward to seeing more of your excellent work.

Diane Hirsch has completed a life story video for my husband, Jack Meyer. It is something I have been wanting to do for quite awhile. But not having the know-how
or the necessary equipment, I could not do it. I heard Diane at a meeting and saw that this was the answer. She made the video in the comfort of our home. She did a professional job. The result is a life story that will be cherished and enjoyed by our family. My husband and I recommend Diane to make a video for your family.

My husband, Robert Huth, had his 70th birthday approaching. I realized that the best gift I could give him was to have him tell his life story so generations to come would know who he was and how his life affected theirs. After months of research, I found the perfect person to put together his story...Diane Hirsch. Diane prepared my husband in advance of filming so he was ready with facts and dates to make his video factual and interesting. Diane is a true professional and after interviewing my husband and incorporating lifetime photos, memorabilia and his favorite music, the end result was a MASTERPIECE! The video and book of his life far exceeded our expectations! My husband and I are truly delighted. We recommend Diane Hirsch with great confidence to anyone interested in telling their life story.

About My video life story
I love interviewing and learning about other people's lives. I have been fortunate to have interviewed people such as former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton to athletes such as tennis players Billie Jean King and Chris Evert to movie critic Leonard Maltin.
We all have experiences that are unique to us. They are moments we have even shared with others.
I have spent the past 30 years working in the field of video production and research for sports television. The companies I have worked for include The International Tennis Hall of Fame, ESPN, HBO, CBS, ABC and The Golf Channel. My expertise is in documentaries and features.
I have been recognized for my work winning a prestigious Emmy award and three national Telly awards including a 2010 Telly award for Raymond D. Hirsch, My video life story.
They are things that define us and who we are. We all have interesting stories to tell. But if they are not recorded or written down, they will be forgotten over time.
